I don’t think I’m making a misjudgment when I say that a lot of fashion blogs want to do what magazines are doing. Yes, we like that our blogs are independent but maybe what I’m saying here is that we’d like to work more like a magazine. Have a proper office, receive calls from advertisers, manage to put business into good content yaddi yaddi yah, I know I most certainly want to work this way in the future.
For me, the best way I’m trying to achieve that is by actually reading magazines (although they are a bit of luxury for me…$30 for glossies is not cheap)For the next month(s), I shall be reading VMAN 28and Fantastic Man no 16.I like these two magazines for two different reasons. I love the content (editorials) in VMAN while the layout of of Fantastic Man is great.
ps. I bought these last month and and I’m halfway done reading them. I’m already planning to buy the “Spring” editions!
