This look sort off looks the same doesn’t it? I actually really don’t mind that. It’s nice to do some things repetitively if you do it well, no? I simply like the casual-ness amidst the formality in the ensemble. It’s not a stiff and serious get up. It’s versatile and gets my through the day with swag class. As always, half of the outfit is composed of thrifted clothes that cost less than 10 loonies (that’s a dollar coin in Canada)
I understand some style blogs showcase photography beyond amazing, and I also understand that all style blog therefore need to have amazing photographic quality. I choose to be slightly different. My posts serve to document my style in real time, therefore it’s gotta look realistic. There is never always a sunset behind me,and neither do I spend my entire day on a deserted rooftop or a narrow french road. I live in suburbia, this is what you get in suburbia….
ps. a little styling note. Doing a “messy tuck” on your shirt may create a dishevelled more casual effect, but it can also make you look like you have a huge gut in some positions! Learn from my mistake.
