It all started with the Youtube Symphony Orchestra and a collaboration. As I was casually watching videos related to this years Youtube Symphony Orchestra in Australia, I stumbled upon a video of Andy Bull and a clarinet player, who were writing songs in cooperation with Australian Tourism.
I remember having to try out so many name possibilities when googling this guy as the video didn’t really type out his name, and his oh-so Aussie accent didn’t help too much either. During this process I had not known this guy’s singing talent to any degree, or that he even sang; I simply remembered the way he played the piano.(Also, quite honestly, his trench coat in the video) I guess it was all just luck.
The rest was history, and I’ve loved Andy Bull’s music ever since. I generally have a bit of a tendency to like music that isn’t so mainstream. What can I say, I’m a closet hipster. This guy fits quite the description. That lovely piano playing mixed with a tenor voice and some pop-rock-alternative type of playing and you’ve got Andy Bull. You’ve also got that type of music I like.
Enough talking from me, here are five tracks from Andy Bull’s albums from the past 2-3 years. Enjoy!
Andy Bull|Young Man
Andy Bull|Last Waltz
Andy Bull|Dog
Andy Bull|Electric Feel
Andy Bull|My Street
